Building Vocabulary Literacy Model Cohort

Because vocabulary knowledge is critical to reading comprehension, it is important that those working with young readers help foster their development of a large “word bank” and effective vocabulary learning strategies. The more often a child sees, hears, and works with the vocabulary words, the better he/she understands the words’ meanings. Some of the best vocabulary strategies will be shared in this workshop. This training is for the Literacy Model cohort teachers.
