TIL - Lesson Planning and Formative Assessment

In this two-day session, campus leadership teams will learn two leadership protocols from Paul Bambrick-Santoyo's work in Leverage Leadership 2.0.
TIL Lesson Planning trains leaders how to guide their teachers to build effective daily lesson plans that will drive student learning, as well as how to monitor that planning to see which parts are working and which aren’t, and how to coach teachers to master the skills they need to make their planning consistently effective.
TIL Formative Assessment trains leaders on how to guide their teachers to craft rigorous and aligned daily and weekly assessments that will support analysis of student mastery and gaps, and how to coach their teachers to master the skills of assessment writing and analysis to ensure their continuous improvement in designing formative assessments.
In this hands-on, minds-on session, leaders will engage with and practice both protocols at a level that will facilitate seamless implementation at the campus level. Participants will receive copies of both Get Better Faster and Leverage Leadership 2.0 to facilitate deeper D.D.I. implementation within their districts. Teams will receive monthly implementation support and coaching after their initial face-to-face engagement.
Leadership teams should include a team of three (principal manager, principal, and another campus leader.)

Workshop Fee will be charged to those who fail to show for a workshop.
To avoid the charge, Staff Development contacts for this workshop must be notified in writing at least 3 business days prior to workshop date.
