The Language of STEM - 1 hr online

In this introduction to STEM / STEAM integration in classrooms, we will explore and practice a variety of examples of using STEM challenges as a prompt that engages students in authentic problem solving and real-life application in a format that allows students to apply their own creativity and skills. We will also demonstrate how to foster technical language development through authentic learning. Teachers will be equipped to integrate STEM challenges into their lessons, fostering the language of STEM, and emphasizing cross-curricular alignment.
