Will your students be prepared for what is coming? Although we have a tendency to think of response skills TEKS as short responses, TEA indicates that the responses could be short or long. How are you preparing your students? What are the best practices for teaching response to literature and what activities are most effective? In addition, take away some ready-to-go resources that you can use in the classroom.
