Abilities Instead of Disabilities-Awareness Training 21-22
Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.
All students are unique and have individual strengths and weaknesses. Come identify and nurture the individuality of disabilities and the many ways disabilities impact students, families, and educators. You will be linked to multiple resources in order to create your own Disability Awareness Snapshot Binder. Information such as the 13 categories of disabilities, classroom instructional strategies, advocacy help, and tips for parent and teacher communication, etc. will be discussed to assist you in creating a collaborative learning environment. (Laptops needed). This workshop will now be synchronous and asynchronous (one hour and thirty minutes will be devoted to independent learning). Attendees will be able to participate in this webinar in their district via the Zoom link provided in the registration confirmation email.
