The Write Experience

Purposes for writing should include focusing students' attention on and engaging them in various subject matters. Writing across the curriculum allows students to make connections between subject matter and using writing as a learning tool. Use write-to-learn strategies for both individual and collaborative groups that help students use writing as a tool for thinking and evidence-based writing for content.
