Goal Setting – The SMART Way

Looking through the lens of the T-TESS Professional Practices & Responsibility Domain, this course will prepare you to set goals that are SMART and provide you with a target to aim to achieve during the school year. SMART is an acronym that stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant/Results Oriented, and Timely. A SMART goal incorporates all these criteria to help focus your efforts and increase the chances of achieving your goal which yields growth in you and your instructional practices and your students. Since goals are part of every aspect of life and provide a sense of direction, motivation, a clear focus, and clarify importance, I encourage you to take this course.
