Disordered Sensory Processing in the Schools 20-21

Participants will be introduced to the concepts of neurodiversity and divergency and their expressions and implications for the entire school experience. Participants
receive an overview of the sensory systems, the SPD Nosology as developed by Dr.Lucy Jane Miller (2007), and the functional implications of the subtypes in
students. In addition, an overview of the inter-connectedness of sensory processing-regulation-relationship, implications in school settings, and general strategies and application by RTI Tier will be discussed. Attendees will be able to participate in this webinar in their district via the Zoom link provided in the registration confirmation email.
