MS Science Success: Sun, Earth, and Moon

Come examine the middle school science concepts of the Sun, Earth, and Moon. We will begin by breaking down related TEKS and building an understanding of how the STAAR assesses this content. This workshop includes discussions about the pacing needed to cover material, key understandings, historic data, and where learning gaps typically occur. We will also spend time exploring hands-on, student-centered lessons, and learn strategies to prepare students for success on STAAR.
