Paraprofessional Symposium 20-21

Instructional paraprofessionals are invaluable to schools across Texas. This symposium is designed to explore how paraprofessionals can assist educators of students with learning differences. Each attendee will have their choice of rotating through four one-hour and fifteen-minute learning sessions. Participants will learn legal requirements, the building blocks of creating a successful teaching partnership, tips and strategies for student engagement, and instructional responsibilities.

Each learning session will be offered at the four designated times:

Schedule: Session 1: 8:30-9:45 …… 15-minute break follows
Session 2: 10:00-10:45 …… 15-minute break follows
11:00-12:15 LUNCH
Session 3: 12:15-1:30 …… 15-minute break follows
Session 4: 1:45-3:00 Dismissed

After completing registration, session selection is available in your professional development records in "My Content," "My Upcoming Workshops" (click on conference workshop title).
