Webinar: Finds for Financial Mathematics - Grades 6-12

The training will support middle and high school educators teaching the Financial Mathematics course and Personal Financial Literacy standards in mathematics. Susan Doty, Director of Center for Economic & Financial Literacy from the University of Texas at Tyler, will be presenting new information and resources addressing the TEKS of the courses. Another focus will be to help you teach math TEKS through financial literacy resources. Making real-world connections for your students through money is always beneficial. Teachers will receive student-centered activities that can be used to empower students to understand math concepts and make informed responsible choices as consumers and savers, including planning for college.
