Many classrooms have traditionally been a place for the consumption of information and ideas. However, empowering students as creators means educators must shift their professional thinking and instruction to enable authentic opportunities for students to create both individually and collaboratively. This workshop will examine a variety of student creation activities that will allow students to own and demonstrate learning.
