Tech Tools For Vocabulary

Effective vocabulary instruction is important for comprehension, and student achievement. A broad vocabulary is important for effective speaking, listening, reading, and writing and in today’s 21st-century classrooms, digital tools must coexist alongside more traditional tools.

This workshop will allow participants to explore digital tools that provide a broad array of information about words and word meanings. You will also have time to practice and think about lesson ideas using these tools with grade-appropriate instructional vocabulary.
