Formative Assessment and Feedback
Complete Attendanceavailable in:
Learn how formative assessment and feedback is most effective in classrooms in which the learning cycle enables students to:
1) Understand what they are trying to learn and the criteria by which they can assess that learning,
2) Produce evidence of how they are doing, and
3) Receive formative feedback to improve the quality of their work.
Gone are the days where we can wait for a unit test to respond to learning. Distinguished teachers consistently prevent student confusion by monitoring student progress, sharing diagnostic data, and engage students in self-assessment to build awareness of their strengths and weaknesses. This self-paced, online course will present the importance of formative assessment and feedback and provide instructional tips and techniques to help students develop understanding. You will also receive access to over 50 activities for formative assessment.
