Revision & Editing: Defining the Difference

A vital skill for young writers is to be able to revise and edit their writing. Good revision and editing can transform a mediocre first draft into an excellent final paper. It’s more work but leads to real satisfaction when you find you’ve said what you wanted. Recognizing an error in spelling, punctuation, grammar, and word usage takes some practice. We will share ideas and steps to help develop little proofreaders in the classrooms.
