The Redesigned Reading 2023 STAAR Test

Complete Attendance

Teachers will become familiar with the new RLA redesign of the 2023 STAAR test. It will measure the new RLA TEKS, including writing in every grade, and prioritize cross-curricular reading passages that cover content taught in other subjects. New item types will make up at least 25% of the test.
