What is all this talk about Parent & Family Engagement? What role does it play on your campuses and district? During this TEA created workshop we will define parent and family engagement under ESSA, utilize research to understand the importance and benefits of PFE, identify district and school level PFE requirements under ESSA, identify allowable uses of Title I, Part A PFE funds, identify common monitoring trends and findings focused on PFE, identify guiding principles in PFE, and explore resources focused on PFE.
