Special Education Essentials for the New Teacher is designed to provide participants with a basic understanding of special education. The participants will learn the fundamentals of special education such as the ARD process, qualifying disabilities, Least Restrictive Environment, commonly used acronyms, accommodations and modifications, roles and responsibilities, confidentiality, and where to access resources. This training is for TPCP interns only.
