Workshop Registration Details

G/T 5 Day Basics / 30 Hour Training (Day 3 of 5) Grades K-12: Participants in this online course will develop an understanding of the eleven elements of depth and complexity and how to incorporate them within their lessons to engage gifted students in more rigorous content. In addition, the Texas Performance Standards Project (TPSP) tasks will be examined in order to gain a deeper understanding of how they can be utilized to meet the state-mandated requirement that gifted students will develop advanced-level products and performances. The Curriculum and Instruction standards outlined in the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented Students will be analyzed. All work must be completed by the course end date to receive a certificate. This online course is offered at no charge to members of the G/T Coop, G/T Professional Development Package, and TPCP. G/T Day 3 will not satisfy the state requirement for the annual gifted/talented 6 Hour update. For questions about registration, please contact the registrar for this workshop at 903-988-6784.
