Sumners Institute: The American History Challenge: (8th Grade)

Complete Attendance

This 12-hour institute is designed to address TEKS that are challenging to 8th-grade students including: Domestic Policies of the early Presidents, Foreign Policies of the early Presidents, Political Parties, and Reconstruction. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from scholars and consultants who demonstrate student learning through a variety of activities. Join us and experience hands-on lessons that allow learners to engage with the content and gain a deeper understanding of our nation's history. Explore lessons and strategies that support student success and enrich the existing curriculum. Participants receive access to all materials upon completion of the course.
