Early Childhood Starting Blocks Conference 2022: Starting Off on the Right Foot Join us for the inaugural Region 7 Early Childhood conference. This year, our theme will be "Starting Off on the Right Foot", which will focus on best practices in Early Childhood. Presenters will share ideas to help you start your year right. Conference hours will count toward your House Bill 3 ECDS professional development requirements. If you are interested in presenting, please contact the Early Childhood team by the end of January. Presenters will be selected before March.

It’s also great for math skills such as counting, weighing, measuring, etc. Cooking with your students builds vocabulary and helps with sequencing, following directions, and listening skills. It’s great for ELL students because of the conversations we have when we are cooking and eating. And let’s be honest, it’s all about having fun and building community and relationships with your students!
