Food Service Managers Certification

This two day course will provide food service managers and/or lead position food service workers with an overview of food safety that is needed to pass the Certified Food Manager Exam. The course includes references from the FDA food code, Texas Food Establishment rules and will help them to understand what is needed to prevent food borne illnesses. This course also includes instruction on proper chemical/ storage, introduction to HACCP and cleaning/sanitizing. Participants that successfully complete the class and pass the exam with a 70 or above will be certified for 5 years.
