Idea Development: Small Moves that Make a Difference

One of the most challenging skills for writers of all ages once they've settled on a writing topic is how to bring depth to their ideas, diving deep into the concept, expanding, investigating, validating their line of reasoning, and developing evidence and ideas that a reader would accept as accurate and valid. You will walk away with ideas on how to incorporate small moves into your instruction that will empower your students to grow and develop their ideas in new ways.
