Advanced Word Study in the Secondary Classroom

Word Recognition is a key component of Reading Comprehension. If students can't decode the words on the page, there will be limited or no understanding of the text. This workshop will provide teachers with the foundational skills for teaching students to read in the secondary classroom. Participants will leave with the research and evidence-based practices that foster the development of advanced word recognition skills.
