Moving English Learners Forward on the ELA EOC

Calling all secondary ESL and ELA teachers!!! Join international presenter, Allison Hand of Seidlitz Education, to learn simple steps that will make the essay writing portion of the STAAR/EOC assessment less threatening for students. Explore approaches to scaffold instruction and boost students’ performance on the essay portion of the STAAR/EOC. The workshop includes an opportunity to examine the required elements of the essays and learn how to help students incorporate these elements into their writing. Each participant will receive a copy of the ELA/EOC Resource Guide.
