A Framework for Understanding Poverty

A Framework for Understanding Poverty by Dr. Ruby Payne has stood the test of time since 1995. But the question is often, "What do I do now?" During this workshop, participants will examine the definition of poverty, evaluate their perspective, and learn 10 Action Steps to implement immediately to positively impact students living in poverty. Participants will receive a copy of the book, A Framework for Understanding Poverty: A Cognitive Approach by Dr. Ruby K. Payne, Ph.D. upon completion of the workshop. Part 1 of the series is Workshop #224501, "Emotional Poverty in All Demographics." Part 3 is Workshop #224791, "Emotional Poverty Vol. 2: Safer Students and Less-Stressed Teachers."
