Students in Poverty Series, Part 1: Emotional Poverty in All Demographics

The Emotional Poverty session will provide an understanding of the origins of anger, anxiety, and avoidance while also identifying the differences in male and female emotional processing. This session will equip educators with valuable tools to manage and reduce anger in the classroom. A copy of Ruby Payne's book, Emotional Poverty in All Demographics - How to Reduce Anger, Anxiety, and Violence in the Classroom, will be provided to each participant upon completion of this workshop. Part 2 of the series is Workshop ##217554, 'A Framework for Understanding Poverty; 10 Actions to Educate Students." Part 3 of the series is Workshop #224791, "Emotional Poverty Vol. 2: Safer Students and Less-Stressed Teachers."
