Workshop Registration Details

**Teachers must have previously attended a Math Academy (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, or 2021)**
This Teaching & professional learning opportunity will provide content, material, and strategies to assist educators in meeting the needs of students in their district.

This academy is designed to:

*connect problem-solving experiences and discourse strategies to deepen the content experienced in the original Mathematics Achievement Academy, Grades K-1;
*explore and apply the problem-solving model found in the TEKS as a tool to help students make sense of mathematics and to help the mathematics make sense to students; and
*explore and apply mathematical language routines to equip students to communicate their mathematical understanding with clarity.


This is a 3-part series with the following requirements:
----Must attend Part 1: Grade 1 Problem Solving and Discourse*
----Must take Online Course: Grade 1 Problem-Solving and Discourse*
----Must attend Part 2: Grade 1 Problem Solving and Discourse*

Teachers who successfully complete an academy may be eligible to receive the $100 stipend.
