Workshop Registration Details

For gifted students to demonstrate academic growth, they must be challenged, but what if they refuse to accept that challenge? Students may not realize the influence effort has on their success with difficult tasks. Participants will study various approaches for reinforcing effort and providing recognition to enhance students’ learning and encourage them to take educational risks. This course is based on Marzano’s nine instructional strategies. This workshop satisfies the state requirement for the annual G/T 6-hour update.

We discover ways to better meet the needs of our increasingly diverse student population as we gain a greater understanding of how the human brain learns. By looking for ways to differentiate instruction and assessment approaches, we may be able to help more students achieve their full potential. Based on research on best educational practices associated with differentiation and brain-compatible instruction. This workshop satisfies the state requirement for the annual G/T 6-hour update.
