SLP Webinar Series 22-23: Comprehensive stuttering therapy for middle-school and high-school students

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

The teenage years bring unique challenges for children who stutter—and the clinicians who serve them! This presentation will discuss ways to help middle-school and high-school students face the difficult situations that are common for this age. Topics will include communicating in social situations and in the classroom, coping with negative reactions by peers (such bullying), and learning to accept themselves as people who stutter as they focus their attention on successful and effective communication as the ultimate goal of speaking. Attendees will be able to participate in this webinar from their district. Workshop materials and an access code for entering the webinar will be provided prior to the scheduled date. Course certificates and certificate links within your staff development records will be available 10 days after the course end date and the posting of credit hours. TSHA credit will be offered.
