Foundational RLA Skills: How to plan TEKS RS Unit 1

Complete Attendance

Teachers will examine the goals of Unit 1 and the Performance assessments associated with it to make connections to how these foundational practices build the basis for thoughts and processing throughout the remainder of the year. Focus: Comprehension and response, setting up writing, and the new Pacing Tools format. This is the first in a series of training to guide ELAR teachers through tightly aligned standards-based planning, and the use of highly effective instructional strategies and pedagogy to make impactful shifts in their classroom.
