Description

Sunshine and Sulcatas' investigation is sure to make you smile! These tortoises love the Texas sunshine and eating fresh fruits and vegetables! They also have an indoor habitat to accommodate them when the weather gets too cold. Snail, Slowpoke, and Suli are anxious to meet you!
EcoLand Early Learning Center is excited to offer remote, live animal interactions to all Kindergarten, PreK, and ECSE members of the Academic Content Coop and members of the Region 7 Head Start grant. This is an excellent opportunity for students to practice participating in an online platform (Zoom) and learn how to ask questions. This 30-minute virtual learning opportunity is a whole class activity aligned with grade-level standards. Exploring with Terry the Tree Frog will provide students the opportunity to: observe, describe, question, predict and reflect. Students will also engage in scientific talk as they compare, contrast, and categorize characteristics observed. Zooming @ EcoLand with Terry & Friends will provide a plethora of educational benefits for your entire class!
