Research Based Strategies for Marshall ISD - Half-day

For Marshall ISD ONLY. What you do in the classroom matters! Effect size matters! During this workshop, participants will learn to analyze students' resources, determine needs, and implement strategies with proven effect sizes to close learning gaps. These strategies are effective for all students, but especially for our under-resourced students. Whether you teach kindergarten or high school, you will want to be a part of this powerful day. Participants will receive a copy of Research-Based Strategies: Narrowing the Achievement Gap for Under-Resourced Students by Payne and Tucker. This will be held at the Marshall Junior High Library.
