EB Family Empowerment Toolkit - Module 5: Empowering Emergent Bilingual Families Through Literacy

By offering family literacy programs in our schools and communities, Emergent Bilingual parents will not only strengthen their literacy skills and develop stronger relationships with their children, but they will also move closer toward becoming an empowered community. This module provides a step-by-step process for researching, selecting, and beginning a family literacy program.

This webinar is the second in a series of eight live training modules, that are a part of the Emergent Bilingual Family Empowerment Toolkit Pilot. The workshop is only available to the two Region 7 pilot districts: Lindale ISD and Nacogdoches ISD. The Toolkit will be rolled out to all districts beginning in the Fall of 2023.
