EB Family Empowerment Toolkit - Module 6: Authentic Emergent Bilingual Family and Teacher Partnerships

Emergent Bilingual family partnerships with teachers should occur naturally, with both parties taking the time to interact and have authentic and intentional conversations with each other as often as possible. This module will provide guidance on how to develop these authentic collaborative relationships, activities, and trust between teachers and Emergent Bilingual families that honor funds of knowledge.

This webinar is the fifth in a series of eight live training modules, that are a part of the Emergent Bilingual Family Empowerment Toolkit Pilot. The workshop is only available to the two Region 7 pilot districts: Lindale ISD and Nacogdoches ISD. The Toolkit will be rolled out to all districts beginning in the Fall of 2023.
