This module serves as a starting point to empower the families of Emergent Bilingual students through a practice of culturally and linguistically sustaining practices. The tools support districts and schools in the process of seeking and understanding the culture and language of Emergent Bilingual families.

This webinar is the sixth in a series of eight live training modules, that are a part of the Emergent Bilingual Family Empowerment Toolkit Pilot. The workshop is only available to the two Region 7 pilot districts: Lindale ISD and Nacogdoches ISD. The Toolkit will be rolled out to all districts beginning in the Fall of 2023.
