Literacy for All with Adapted Books 22-23

How can a student access a book if the student has a visual impairment, physical impairment, or another disability that creates difficulty accessing the content? Join me in this session to learn how to adapt books so that ALL students can enjoy a love of literacy. Bring a picture book and your "junk" (i.e., everyday classroom materials with tactile features) that we can all share to adapt books for our students. You will leave this session with an adapted book to use in your classroom. TSHA credit is pending.
