Essential Facilitation Skills for IEP Meeting Facilitators 22-23

The best outcomes for students occur when parents and schools work collaboratively, but sometimes this process breaks down. What do we do when things aren’t going well? In this session, proactive strategies and skills to maintain compliant ARDs and promote collaboration will be discussed. Participants will receive tools that will help prevent problems through preparation, tools for building consensus and participation, and interventions for when the ARD gets tough. Participants will learn to use the tools which will be free to copy for future use in their district. There will be no TSHA credit given for this workshop.
