Discover TexQuest digital resources for the secondary classroom and library that fully support the ELAR and Social Studies TEKS. Trainers from Britannica, TeachingBooks and Gale will present.

Britannica: Educators will learn how high quality digital content can be used to reach diverse learners through personalized learning in ELAR and Social Studies. Participants will discover K-12 topics through differentiated text, images, videos, and primary source documents.

TeachingBooks: Every book is a social studies book--especially at TeachingBooks. From the back story of Dear Martin to themes in Hamlet, you'll find behind-the-scenes videos, complete book readings and more. In this workshop, you'll discover resources you can use every day to enrich your lessons and inspire your readers.

Gale: Discover resources to support your ELAR and Social Studies classrooms with Gale In Context: Middle School and Gale in Context: High School that include full text magazine, newspaper, and reference book articles, along with videos, images, and primary sources. Gale Literature’s cross-search offers full-text literary works, literature criticism, plot overviews, author biographies, interviews and more. Explore features that include TEKS alignment, text-to-speech, translations, Google/Microsoft integration and advanced searches by content and Lexile level.
