G/T 6-Hour Update: Thinking Like a Historian and a Geographer

It is more important than ever for teachers to be experts in thinking like historians and geographers to teach their students to understand social studies. What is geography? What does it mean to be a historian? How can I use primary sources in my classroom? These questions are the basis of exploring social studies skills, concepts, and perspectives in this hands-on workshop for secondary teachers (Grades 5-12). This workshop will count as a 6-hour G/T update.
