Reading Intervention: Automatic Retrieval to Fill in Gaps-Elementary 23-24

Supports in an MTSS framework flow from universal, to targeted, to intensive. The tiers are distinct but, as part of a system, share common components. Under the umbrella of MTSS, students at risk are provided with intervention time above the regular core classroom instruction. Students who demonstrate a continued inadequate response to universal instruction and intervention are moved into different levels of support based on data gathered through progress monitoring. This workshop will address the evidenced-based practices in reading at each level of a three-tiered framework. Practical strategies and resources will be provided for each level to create better intervention lessons. Texas implementation guidelines and evidence-based research that support student growth will be reviewed.
Attendees will be able to participate in this webinar in their district via the Zoom link provided in the registration confirmation email.
