What is the role of the Language Proficiency Assessment Committee? This overview training designed for administrators, teachers, and any staff who is involved in district Bilingual/ESL programs will answer questions such as: How do we identify a student as Emergent Bilingual? Who decides what services the student receives? What are the district responsibilities for serving Emergent Bilingual students? Receive updates and clarification of the state and federal requirements for serving Emergent Bilinguals (English learners), so you can conduct effective LPAC meetings throughout the school year. It is a best practice that all LPAC members be annually trained.
