Autism 101 (22-23)

Participants will be provided with a broad overview of the characteristics of autism and research-based strategies. This workshop will focus on working with students with autism, including strategies for teaching appropriate behaviors, instructional supports, and ways to create positive environments and relationships for these students on campus.
This session is primarily for Karnack ISD staff. This session will also be available for district staff in other Harrison County SSA schools (Elysian Fields ISD, Harleton ISD, Waskom ISD).
