Abilities Instead of Disabilities Awareness Training 24-25

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

All students are unique and have individual strengths and weaknesses. Identify and nurture the individuality of disabilities and the many ways disabilities impact students, families, and educators. You will be linked to multiple resources to create your own Disability Awareness Snapshot Binder. Information such as the 13 categories of disabilities, classroom instructional strategies, advocacy help, parent and teacher communication tips, etc., will be discussed to assist you in creating a collaborative learning environment. (Laptops needed).
