Evidence-Based Practices for the Universal Classroom 24-25

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Today's classroom instruction should include several common practices that are designed to meet the needs of all learners. How do we support school improvement and improve outcomes for students when there isn't a "one size fits all" program? This workshop will dive into the evidence-based research that supports high-quality classroom instruction and interventions. Universal Design Learning (UDL), scaffolding, differentiation, explicit instruction, and other practices will be discussed for filling in gaps through Tier 1 instruction and other scheduled intervention times. We will dive into scenarios that help us determine the distinctions between intervening, accommodating, and modificating student learning with and without disabilities.
