Transitioning to the New Science TEKS - Henderson Middle School

Join us as we examine the background, rationale, and content of the new 2024-2025 Science TEKS to prepare for implementing high-quality 6-8th grade science instruction. The new standards have many changes, such as integrating science and engineering practices (SEPs) and recurring themes and concepts (RTCs). To conclude the session, we will explore how different verbs and content affect previous lessons and units.
