This workshop will introduce CSEP, explain its importance, and share success stories and implementation challenges faced in various Texas districts. We will provide an overview of CSEP's fundamental steps, principles, best practices, and case studies. We will also emphasize the link between best practices and current policy. Additionally, we will present case studies to help evaluators enhance their skills in core-test selection, selective testing, interpreting norm-referenced data, and implementing test publisher recommendations. Finally, we will update current thinking on the CHC model to increase diagnostic accuracy.
