This course will provide a comprehensive overview of the School Nutrition Programs available for School Food Authorities (SFAs). It will cover the application process and the eligibility requirements for SFAs to participate in these programs. Additionally, the course will detail how compliance with the SNP programs is monitored.
Objectives:
1. Gain comprehensive knowledge of the programs available for School Food Authorities (SFAs) to operate under the School Nutrition Programs (SNP).
2. Understand the eligibility criteria for a School Food Authority (SFA) to operate SNP programs
3. Learn the SNP application process and the required documentation to ensure compliance when participating in SNP programs.
4. Acquire an understanding of how compliance is monitored through the Administrative Review (AR) and Procurement Review (PR) processes.
