Come join our 2025-2026 Grade 3-5 cohort of science teachers! We will explore the properties of matter through engaging hands-on activities aligned to Grades 3-5 TEKS, while also preparing students for the Texas Science STAAR. Teachers will investigate key concepts like mass, magnetism, mixtures, solutions, and changes in state. The session includes opportunities for collaboration, a make-and-take vocabulary game to reinforce key concepts, and STAAR-aligned questioning strategies to deepen understanding. This workshop blends collaboration, hands-on learning, make-and-take activities, and STAAR preparation, ensuring teachers are equipped with practical tools for engaging their students in mastering the properties of matter.
