Whether you're tech-savvy or just starting to explore AI in your CTE classroom, this workshop will equip you with insights and tools to make AI an accessible and transformative part of your classroom.

Led by: Master Teacher - Brian William Speer

Brian William Speer brings over 21 years of teaching experience to his current role at Marshall High School (Marshall ISD), where he teaches Computer Science I & II, Video Game Design, Advanced Game Programming, Game Practicum and leads the schools competitive Esports program. He holds a B.S. in Fitness and Wellness Education from Lee University (with minors in Bible and Art), a Secondary Education Certification from LeTourneau University’s P.A.C.T. Program and a Software Development Certificate from DevMountain in Dallas. He is also Unity Certified to teach game development.

Brian William Speer is the author of The Need to Succeed in Sports (2001), a book on sports psychology and physiology for young athletes. He is the founder of Edclerk, a hallway and behavior management app used across Texas and Louisiana, and is currently developing an AI-powered school scheduling system for multi-district use. As the founder of Maverick Esports, he built a revenue-generating program that equips students with hands-on tech skills and entrepreneurial experience. A former soccer coach who launched three successful programs, he is passionate about connecting students with real-world opportunities through CTE pathways.
